Waste Investments is a New Zealand company focused on acquiring and investing in waste management businesses — either partially or wholly — that align with our vision for a circular, carbon-neutral future.
Our strategy is simple: to build an integrated network of waste companies that will ultimately feed into a nationwide network of PEFCO plants — advanced facilities that convert non-recyclable waste into sustainable energy products and carbon-neutral fuels.
We are actively seeking acquisition opportunities across both the North and South Islands, with a focus on strong operational teams, proven track records, and long-term environmental commitment.
Westland Waste can announce that as of 1 December 2025, South Westland Rubbish Removals 2025 will be wholly owned by Westland Waste. We look forward to welcoming the team and continuing to deliver reliable, community-focused waste services across the West Coast region.
Waste Investments is currently evaluating a 10–14% stake in NZX listed WasteCo Group Ltd. While there is currently no formal supply agreement between WasteCo and PEFCO, we have established positive early discussions with several other non-landfill waste operators and investment partners who share our vision for reducing landfill dependency and building a cleaner, more efficient New Zealand.
